AENOR participates in showtour. European OCS scheme in Tarragona (Spain)

On 7 June, AENOR participated in the Showtour that took place in Tarragona, at the facilities of the company Katoen Natie, during which AENOR, ANAIP and Plastis Europe presented the new lines of action of the recently published European OCS Scheme.

The host company also showed us how it carries out the control of possible losses of pellets in its facilities to prevent them from ending up in the sea, thus contributing to improving the environment.
 
Organised by the associations promoting Operation Clean Sweep® in Spain (ANAIP) and in Europe (Plastics Europe) and promoting the European OCS Programme, the event was opened by representatives of the Public Administration, showing a clear commitment to sustainability and the objective of preventing pellet losses from the industry.

The conference was opened by Àngel Xifré, director of the Territorial Services of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda of the Generalitat de Catalunya in Tarragona and the acting mayor of La Canonja, the municipality where we were.
